Capital Campaign 2017-2018

Today’s Devotion Is Tomorrow’s Foundation

Monthly Capital Campaign Update

THANK YOU to all our parishioners who have so generously supported the Capital Campaign! As of 2/28/18, we have received 403 responses for a total of $1,669,905. With reserve in savings, our total available for the project is $1,919,905.

It’s never too late to be a part of the campaign. If you haven’t done so already, please prayerfully consider making a commitment. If you have misplaced your commitment form, please call the office and we will be glad to mail you one.

Feel free to drop your pledge payment in the weekend collection, at the Parish office, or in the mail. Please make sure to clearly mark your payment by putting “Capital Campaign” on the memo line of your check.

Are you tired of writing out your monthly check for the Campaign or you sometimes forget? Electronic funds transfer is a great solution! If you are interested in signing up, contact the Parish office for an authorization form.

The Boldt design and construction teams continue to meet with members of the core sub-committee on a regular basis to review the scope of the project, update estimates, set preliminary scheduled, and determine availability of subcontractors. Each time we meet with the Boldt teams, the drawings continue to get updated with more details. Currently the drawings are at 30% complete, with the goal to be near 75% complete when we meet on March 8th. As stated in the previous updates, completed drawings and pricing are needed to prepare a proxy request for the Diocese of Green Bay approval. Currently, we are expecting the drawings to be completed by the end of March and to obtain quotes in April. Once approved by the Diocese, we are looking for a mid-spring start date. We are still planning on doing the work in phases to coincide with the 3-year pledge dollars available. More exciting news will be coming in the April update!

In Him,
Fr. Ryan Krueger

Good Shepherd Parish Guidance for the Future Prayer:
God of our fathers, gracious in loving and blessings, help us to acknowledge and appreciate the many gifts You have given to your people. You have called each of us by name to fulfill the work of Your Kingdom on Earth. Inspire and direct our thinking, our activity, our decisions, and our prayers, empowering us to join together in carrying out Your will.

Scripture Reflection:
The God of Heaven Himself will help us succeed. Therefore, we will arise and build. We will trust His word and believe in the Sovereign Lord who always keeps His promises.
