Parish Wide Lenten Food & Hygiene Drive
As part of our parish alms giving during Lent, we are asking parishioners to bring a hygiene and/or non-perishable food item to Mass each weekend during Lent. If each person brings one item each week, we will make a significant impact in the needs of our local disadvantaged people. We cannot accept expired or damaged items – please donate something you would give to your own family. Each week, we will list specific items that are in particular need. Please check back, as this will be updated each week:
1st Sunday of Lent: baby food & hygiene products – baby food, formula, diapers, wipes, etc.
2nd Sunday of Lent: women’s hygiene items – soaps, deodorant, sanitary products, self-care items, etc.
These are suggestions, you can still bring any other non-perishable food or hygiene item. Collection boxes are at each church entrance.
By working together as a parish, we are helping others, AND doing a small sacrifice ourselves. Thank you again for your generous support of this effort!
