2023 Advent Food & Hygiene Drive

“He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.”

Neighbors in our local community rely on the assistance of the Chilton Salvation Army Food Pantry to provide food and other essentials for their families. As Good Shepherd Parish, we have the opportunity to respond to the needs of our neighbors both by our prayers and by donating non-perishable food and hygiene items. We will be collecting food and hygiene items for the Chilton food pantry. The need is particularly great right now. Most people realize that the cost of food and hygiene items have skyrocketed. Yet, many struggle to meet the personal needs of their families.

Will you help?

Starting Thanksgiving Day and continuing through Advent, donated items can be dropped off, preferably in a box or bag, on the sanctuary steps near the Blessed Virgin images.

Most needed items include:

Unexpired Non-perishable Foods
• hot and cold cereals
• peanut butter and jelly
• canned soups
• canned tuna, chicken and meat
• canned pastas and stews
• canned fruits and veggies
• baking goods and spices

Family Size Personal Hygiene Products
• bath soap and lotion
• shampoo and conditioner
• deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes
• feminine hygiene products
• baby care supplies
• laundry detergent
