*The first Friday of each month, there is a litany following the 8 am Mass at Good Shepherd.
**The first Saturday of each month, there is an additional Mass at 8 am at Good Shepherd.

We joyfully welcome people back to celebrating Mass with us in-person!

There are no mandates for those attending Mass. Please exercise the spirit of Christian charity, respect, and prudence. While the CDCs guidelines differ based on vaccination status (and we encourage people to consider these in their decisions), we will not treat people differently based on vaccination status at Good Shepherd.

There is a small section of church with ropes up where masks and social distancing are required. Video and audio of Mass is projected in the Parish hall (downstairs).

Sanitation
1. Hand sanitizer is available at all church entrances.
2. Church is being cleaned regularly.

Communion
Please form a line up the center aisle to receive Communion. If you are sitting in a side pew, please file through a center pew come up the center aisle. A minister will bring Communion to those who are disabled or less mobile in the front seats, or in the back near the elevator.

Other Changes

  1. Heritage Missals are available at all entrances of church to use for Mass and then return to the shelf. Note, these must stay in church.
  2. The holy water fonts have been refilled at the church entrances.
  3. Choirs have returned.
  4. We have resumed announcing the sign of peace at Mass, but please be mindful of others’ comfort level with close contact.

The obligation to attend Sunday Mass has been reinstated by Bishop Ricken effective August 15, 2021. All the faithful are invited to keep the Lord's Day holy by returning to Mass and receiving the greatest gift Jesus gave to His Church: The Eucharist.
